My office is next door to our house where I have my router. Using a directional antenna on my office computer I could only get 1 or 2 bars of signal strength.

I tried the Ez-12 Parabolic Reflector on the router but it made no difference for me. I finally tried different locations for the router and finally found a spot that gives me 3 solid bars of signal.

The location of the router in the big issue.

I enjoyed your post here.

O, it is excellent to have a giant's strength; but it is tyrannous to use it like a giant.

Good tips. I purchased a pair of the Netgear Powerline adapters a few weeks ago and they are working great! I found however that they dont work very well plugged in to power boards. They seem to prefer being plugged direct into the wall.
