A few years ago I found a great little tool that picks up some obscure malware infections that even Spybot or Ad-Aware don’t seem to find. It is called X-Cleaner Micro Edition.

You can get it here: http://www.xblock.com/download/xclean_micro.exe

Download file to your computer and double click to run. It only takes two or three minutes to complete so is well worth the time. I usually download it every time I need to use it as it does not update definitions automatically.
