		<description>You don&#039;t need to open the file Mike, just copy it to the location of your firefox profile. 

I mention the location in the post, if you missed it here it is.....

C:\Documents and Settings\&lt;Your Windows User Name&gt;\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\&lt;Firefox Profile name&gt;\(your Firefox profile name is probably unknown to you … usually it is a random string of eight characters – you’ll probably just have to guess at this point, but it should be fairly obvious :) )</description>

		<description>Everything went fine until I got to the actual file. What do I open the file with?? Using Ff just gives me a  webpage showing the bookmarks.I am no closer to having the bookmarks on CD for a reinstall of XP.</description>
