Stop AVG adding an attachment to every email in Outlook Express

You probably already know that AVG Free by Grisoft is an awesome antivirus application. Coupled with Windows Firewall, AVG provides your computer with decent security all for the pretty price of … nothing!
I have however noticed a few people are having problems with the email scanner in Outlook Express adding an attachment to every message regardless of whether an attachment actually exists. This can be extremely frustrating when you are trying to quickly scan through old emails to find an attachment from somebody. This is how you can fix it if this happening to you:
1. In the AVG Control Center select “E-mail Scanner”
2. Click on “Properties”

3. Click on “Configure” Button
4. Under Email Scanning, for both incoming and outgoing email, check the boxes labeled “With attachments only”

5. Press OK to all windows and close AVG Control Center
AVG will now only scan emails that contain attachments, which means it won’t add scan result attachments to every email!

I wondered why all (but the first one) of my incoming emails were tagged with a paperclip. Finally, had time to see if I could find out why. Went to a site that offers info about Windows stuff. It had a forum that addressed that very issue, and one of the entries had a link to this site. Although this solution was made to solve this problem for users that had the previous version (7.something), I was able to take the suggested solution and dig around the Ver 8 dialogs and found what I needed to set in order to stop the trouble.
Thanks ever so much for your solution. Also, anyone who is using ver 8 can find how to work this for themselves.
